The Bar at Nadodi was ready for a re-invention. A bar concept was created and formed a design brief for Mash. The reinvigorated bar concept is anchored by its retrospective approach to story telling through the medium of cocktail culture, taking inspiration through a reminiscent lens of South Indian anecdotes, memories and game play. In co-lab with Proof & Co, Mash developed a concept based around the south Indian game of Seven Stones, drawing on childhood experiences and memories from a unique South Indian cultural landscape. Mash designed and illustrated a Seven Stones cocktail menu box; a unique gold foiled format where each customer at a four seat table gets to open their own draw to reveal a series of illustrated cocktail cards. An engaging introduction to the amazing cocktails on offer, setting the game play scene, disarming and relaxing the customer and adding an interactive element of fun.
